Can people with a permanent resident card get accepted

Just a quick question for anyone who might know of any companies that accept permanent residents, green card holders, Into their paid cdl training programs? Will this also be a barrier for entry?

Trick question?? Kinda!

Hopefully the pic uploads. I have tried to do it once already, but to no avail. It was a question about braking and what was the incorrect answer, and the answer was they were all correct answers! Like you said already old school, you have to be paying close attention to the question and the way it is worded, so you don’t mess up.

Been going through the high road program and found this question has tripped me up a few times! Other than that it’s been a really useful tool and very easy to use. All newbies this a must.

Advice for staying happy on the road.

Really loved this post. Some good advice on staying in shape both physically and mentally. I think having some good reading material on hand would be a welcome distraction while you were on your 10 hour break from trucking.

I’m just going to have to test that theory for myself. That said, I do appreciate your advice. Thanks smile.gif

Thank you old school for those two articles. I read them both and have no doubt that it is true. It’s a tricky situation that I am in, what with my wife in nursing school and working full time and trying to both raise to young kids!

I agree with you on this one. We both have be on the same page. It’s the only way I can be clear on going forward.

Starting a trucking career is best done by sharing the research with your spouse and making the decision together

Greetings!!

Hey! Yeah it was my old avatar from my last profile I had on here. My old one was hacked by the infamous Todd!

That profile photo looks familiar.
