Going back home to pick my girlfriend up and bring her on the road with me

Heads up, Zach. You didn't mention this, so I'll assume you didn't know: unless you have gotten permission from Swift (still with Swift?) you will soon be out of a job. If you "sneak" her on board, many shippers and receivers won't allow unauthorized people on their property.

If you're paying the insurance fee for a ride along, enjoy the trip!

I've got all that squared away. Just need to get the rider policy forms filled out and faxed over.

Going back home to pick my girlfriend up and bring her on the road with me

So I am getting to do something I have wanted to do for a long time and take my girlfriend on the road for a bit, she's never been away from home besides Mexico and trip we did more then a year ago to Vegas. Hopefully it is an enjoyable experience and adventure and we don't want to kill each other after being stuck in a truck together for weeks lol.

Considering a career in Redding CA

May Trucking would be a great option, from what I understand they are very good about hometime and you could probably bring you're truck home and park it at a truck stop in Corning, Orland or the TA in Redding. Swift and Knight also have alot of dedicated freight going up and the I5 corridor. If you would you can shoot me you're contact info and I would be happy to help I only live a couple hours away from you. I actually used to live in Redding lol

Extremely productive hour.

I guess mines not the only one going haywire, I made it from Kingman Arizona to Childers Texas in a day on sleeper berth, of course I ran paper and edited my logs

Need help with wiring my CB to the fuse box

I got a Cobra 25 and but can't get it wired to the fuse box, my truck doesn't have the harnesses running from the box to the CB cubby that you just splice on to, it only has the antena wire. Any advice?

Welp... what the hell

Training sucks, youre first few weeks after you upgrade will be a living hell, youre first few months will after that will suck but it gets better if you just stick with it. I know things are overwhelming at first I never got to learn how to back a 53 foot trailer before I upgraded my trainer only let me back a few times in to easy spots so I was terrified of backing and I'm still not great at it. It seems like you need to slow down and change you're attitude, if I did it you can do it.

Anyone else use a Garmin

My truck profile is set correctly it's more glitches in the system, constantly shutting off, messages not sending or being received, freezing up, navigation freaking out in certain areas especially Phoenix etc. Tried doing a hard reset on it a few times thinking that it just needed a reboot. Didnt help at all
