Not sure, bit I would guess that as long as you have all the necessary paperwork in your possession, there's nothing stopping you from getting it done yourself.
If you have copies of all the paperwork, medical card and the copy of where you passed your test signed off by the examiner, you shouldn't have a problem. Usually, when you go through a school, you don't get that copy from the cdl test, the examiner or testing facility sends it over electronically.

Thanks guys, that's kind of what I am thinking too. I just hope that is the case that I can just take my own paperwork there and be done with it. I am looking for a few jobs as we speak, but can't do anything about it until I have my CDL in my hand.

So I passed all of my DMV endorsements and my driving skills test. Go my DOT and annual physical cards. School that passed me said they were going to submit my paperwork to Harrisburg. BUT I know for a fact they are slow as h3ll. Am I allowed on my own to take all of my paperwork to my local DMV and have them process my stuff for me? I am in the Pa. state. I don't want to sit around waiting for weeks for a company I know for a fact that drags their feet on many things. Thank you.
p.s. I called Harrisburg today and the said they have nothing on me yet.
