I figure I'll have lots of podcasts, audiobooks, language programs, and music to listen to.

My husband played the alphabet game against himself, increasing the difficulty by not re-using the same words the next time through.

What do you do to amuse yourself?

What's the alphabet game?

My SiriusXM subscription has become my best friend out here. I listen to a lot of news radio (it seems like HLN plays a marathon of Forensic Files every weekend), Laugh USA (get ready to hear mostly the same routines over and over again after a while - that's why I listen to that a lot less nowadays), the Catholic channel, and assorted music from time to time.

Calling home and talking to the family is also a great way to pass the time.

However, I often find that I'm more comfortable just turning the radio off and driving in complete silence for a while. Maybe it's just my brain saying, "enough already, I need some time to myself!" Or maybe I just want to enjoy the gorgeous view while it lasts (this often happens around sunrise and sunset). Or maybe I just need to focus, like when driving through traffic, in a city, or looking for a destination. Either way, I'd say altogether I spend about a quarter of my day in silence.

Other than all that, I don't know that there's much else you can do.

I get audio books & audio magazines. Music. Or I Solve The World's Problems as I drive along.

I don't have a CB, but you can talk to other drivers and hear their war stories and how bad their "last" company was!

Alphabet game is where you find a word that starts with each letter of the alphabet.

A - Alco B - Best Buy C - Cabela's D - Do (not enter)

Thinking about my wife and how much I miss her. Planning on how I'm going to spend my limited time at home with her to make it as special as possible for her.

So, like most guys, you are thinking about the bedroom at home. Lol

Sirius satellite radio was a life saver.

I play a lot of Pandora radio, mostly folk, country, and rockabilly. I practice singing while I drive. Although I have a limited vocal range, I can match pitch with Johnny Cash and most anyone else that sings in a deep southern style.

Currently trying to memorize the song El Paso, the cover by the Old 97's.

Daniel does your wife read ALL your post???? (brown noser) I'm kidding you. I think about my family a lot as well.

I mostly like to take in all the scenery because I spent the last 20+ years in a factory.

I read every night, any suggestions on the cheapest places to buy audio books?
