I've already been accepted to prime (leave In a week) and I've told the recruiter I was arrested for failure to appear for a speeding ticket mind you this was over ten years ago.. Recruiter said I was fine after taking my DL# ... Guess my actual question is should I mention this on whatever form I have to fill out once I get to Mo. Or ignore it since it was so long ago?

I think it'd be best to disclose it, even if it was that long ago. It may look bad to some people if they see it and you didn't put it on the form, even if you told the recruiter.

Only if they ask for that far back... They will ask if in your lifetime and how many years ago like 3 5 7 years. . if it says have you ever in your life had a speeding ticket then you would say yes and when..... If it says have you been convicted of a misdemeanors other then traffic in the last 7 years you would say no if you haven't

Indeed both answers above are correct. Disclose it, but only if they ask you a specific question about that fact. You want to answer every question honestly but do not disclose anything they did not specifically ask you about.

Thanks for the replies. Yea it was 15 or so years ago lol in a small town I was driving through ... Forgot about it cause I moved to Texas just 2 days after but it came back and bit me in the rear when I visited family. It was embarrassing for sure paid the ticket and they let me go. Oh well live and learn and keep moving forward

Basically, they are NOT asking your life story, depending on what they haul, and who they contract to haul for. They are MORE interested in RECENT (3 to 5 years) indiscretions (drug and alcohol, excepted). If they asked EVERY truck driver about EVERY indiscretion, they probably wouldn't be able to hire anybody.
