The little one works just as good as the bigger one. Lotta hype with the sales of those antenna. The only reason that I have one was when I was jumping from truck to truck I would just run the cable through the window and the bosses kid pulled the door open and ripped the cable in half and that was the only antenna available and handy. Oh and I was on my way out for a week so doing without was out of the question for me.

Yep. I have the original little square antenna and it works just fine. a hint: Mine is mounted on top of my driver side mirror with velcro and I wrap the wire around the mirror mount to keep it stable.
