Waiting until the last minute is actually the correct way to do it, although it irritates the crap out of me.....called the zipper effect :).
Did my two weeks of training up there and you are correct. They were very nice people.
Notice how big the shoulders on the highways were? Beautiful country up there as well.
Only got to go back a couple of times since. You made me realize how much I missed it.
Of course, I agree!
Prettiest part of the state in my opinion is the west, and southwest. If you have a chance to get off the interstate , There is some really awesome scenery.
But hey, Chris, Lenoir is beautiful too! I've delivered twice to a small paper mill on a tiny river that I totally enjoyed. Skinny little road one way in, other way snaked along that river. SUPER nice people there!
Commercial trade, business, movement of goods or money, or transportation from one state to another, regulated by the Federal Department Of Transportation (DOT).
Truck drivers who regularly pick up from or deliver to the shipping ports will often be required to carry a TWIC card.
Your TWIC is a tamper-resistant biometric card which acts as both your identification in secure areas, as well as an indicator of you having passed the necessary security clearance. TWIC cards are valid for five years. The issuance of TWIC cards is overseen by the Transportation Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security.

Wisconsin drivers...are so courteous!
Driving through Madison in traffic, there were several on-ramps where I felt sure I might have to pull the old "swing into the merge lane to block people from racing past traffic and merging at the last second" trick.
Well to my pleasant surprise, everyone merged early and no one raced past the early mergers just to get a few car lengths ahead. Way to go Wisconsinites!
