Choosing COMPANY ..EXPRESS OR WEL

Hi my name is Chris Which Co . Should I go through xpress or Wel. Im a recent graduate 2 weeks im scared im gonna forget everything I learned, xpress has better equipment But I dont leave til oct 12, Wel is a fridge old equipment So confused.. But I can start next week or should I hold of for something else

Hi Christine. You should've been advised to start applying to companies about 30 days prior to graduating from trucking school. But that's OK. You have plenty of companies to choose from. Start applying and see what options you have. You can be successful at either company you mentioned. Don't get too hung up on certain details. The age of equipment between WEL and US Xpress is really not that much of a gap - nothing worth making a decision on, in my opinion. Most rookies aren't gonna be given the brand new equipment anyhow. Sometimes rookies get a newer tractor, most of the time they don't. You gotta prove yourself.

Any major company is gonna have newer equipment with an average age of 2 years. What you should decide on is what type of freight you wanna haul.
