I live in Ohio do u just say the security condition of the tie rod not cracked damaged bent broke loose or missing etc. Or do u have to get more specific.

OOS:

When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.

I'll just say, watch Daniel B"s pre trip video. Every question you've asked is all answered in that video.

Also are you doing this all on your own or are you planning on going to school because if you're going to a school they will teach you everything you need to know to pass the CDL exam

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

That is all you have to say, its not cracked, damaged or leaking. Thats all we had to say on our tests. Tires were no cuts bulges or cracks, etc.
