I think someone said recently that Swift has a "train your spouse" kinda program setup. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought it was Swift.
3..overall direction..for one home team should go...
I'm not sure what you mean by that.
Hi Mark... You certainly... are fond of... ellipses... ...lol.
But seriously, I also want to team. With your extensive experience in trucking, I don't think you'll have a problem finding a company to work for. There are lots of great companies that work with teams. Personally the one I'm most interested in is Quest Global. http://www.questglobal.net/ They are one of the only companies I'm aware of that focus only on teams, and they offer some pretty great benefits too. They run nice recent equipment, and they also offer unlimited home time any time you need it, which is pretty awesome if you ask me. Another good company I'm interested in which has awesome home time and benefits is Interstate http://www.intd.com/ and they offer a ton of different options on scheduling and home time, from full time OTR to part time 7on/7off or 14on/7off schedules, or even one program for someone like a semi-retired trucker, doing odd hauls from time to time when they need you, as little as one haul per month. It just depends on what you want. Also, both Quest and Interstate are very pet friendly companies, which matters a lot to me but may or may not be of concern to you and your wife.
Just about every major trucking company has a team division of course though, and the big companies also have big support networks, so really its all about what kind of company you two want to work for. In any case, good luck with your adventures and keep truckin'! :)
