There's a lot of flat-bed work going on. You are probably just in an area where it is limited for some reason.
A lot of times flat beds are enclosed now like this one, and you may not even recognize that it is a flat bed.

as I look at the trucks going down the interstate trucks are pulling vans or refers. I don't see a lot of flatbeds. Is it me or is there not a lot of flatbedding going on?
