Prime Inc has a CDL training program and the first phase is referred to as PSD. You'll get your permit and then 10,000 miles of on the road instruction.
Prime’s PSD begins with you obtaining your CDL permit. Then you’ll go on the road with a certified CDL instructor for no less than 75 hours of one-on-one behind the wheel training. After training, you’ll return to Prime’s corporate headquarters in Springfield, Missouri, for final CDL state testing and your CDL license.
Prime Inc has their own CDL training program and it's divided into two phases - PSD and TNT.
The PSD (Prime Student Driver) phase is where you'll get your permit and then go on the road for 10,000 miles with a trainer. When you come back you'll get your CDL license and enter the TNT phase.
The TNT phase is the second phase of training where you'll go on the road with an experienced driver for 30,000 miles of team driving. You'll receive 14¢ per mile ($700 per week guaranteed) during this phase. Once you're finished with TNT training you will be assigned a truck to run solo.

I will be starting Prime's training in Springfield the Monday after Thanksgiving. I have already taken the test for my learners and passed. I just have to go tomorrow for my physical and take the results to the DMV and I will be done with that. My questions are... 1. Do you get the same trainer for both the PSD phase and the TNT phase? 2. Will I be limited to only trainers that live near me? 3. How much is too much to pack? I plan on taking one large duffel bag and one laptop case. 4. During the TNT phase are you home once every 4 or 5 weeks or do you work straight through the 40,000 miles?
I'm really excited to go. I wished I could just go to sleep and wake up a month from now. Although I'm not looking forward to the 30 hour bus ride from Lynchburg, VA. At least I will be getting there Sunday at 1pm. I have read where people get to Campus Inn at 11pm only to be waking up a few hours later to go to Orientation.
Also, The High Road Training Program was great. I highly recommend it for anyone that hasn't already taken the test yet. I only missed 7 out of 125 questions. And most of those were because I was so nervous.
