Here's the math way:
600 miles/day x 5 days a week (2 days for a 34 hour reset). That's 3000 miles a week, but I doubt you'll see more than one or two 6k's in your careen.
If you make those 6k weeks and haven't fallen out of the cab exhausted, it will take about 17 weeks. Your mileage won't "vary", it'll take much longer.
In my rookie year I was over 100,000 miles at the end of my eighth month.
I just checked my miles for the past twelve months, and its 139,586.
Thank you, Old School. 8 months is 32 weeks. My work is done here.
100,000 miles in most companies in 12 months is an average of over 8,300 miles a month. Basically most drivers will reach 100,000 miles at between 10 and 12 months.
It basically depends on the freight and how long you are out. If you are off most weekends, it will take longer. If you take a 3-day break every six weeks, it won't take as long.

Took me about 9 months. I am dedicated though, 95% drop & hook so no wasting time with live loads. Also no appointment, 24/7 delivery to 3M plants & D.C.'s helps keep you rolling, I also have a new load assigned before I make my delivery, so it keeps me moving. I consistently run over 10,000 miles per month

Just curious, how long (months) has it taken most of you experienced guys to hit this mark?
Thanks.
