So I was fueling at a love's in oakdale Wisconsin....washing my windshield and saw a driver next to me pouring liquor into his Pepsi bottle!

He pulled away and off he went. I had nozzles in my tanks, and didn't pull out for a few minutes, so I don't know if he went north or south on the interstate. Tried calling his company to report him, but no answer. Thought about calling 911, but not knowing which way he went, and whether they could stop him on hear say anyway left me frustrated.

Interstate:

Commercial trade, business, movement of goods or money, or transportation from one state to another, regulated by the Federal Department Of Transportation (DOT).

OWI:

Operating While Intoxicated

Did check the parking lot for him, and he definitely left the truck stop

"No answer"? Small company!

Write down the details now (Those pesky brain cells may forget something) including time, truck stop name/location, brand of liquor, as well as any numbers from the truck & trailer. Try calling tomorrow.

Commercial trade, business, movement of goods or money, or transportation from one state to another, regulated by the Federal Department Of Transportation (DOT).

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

I think most truck stops have cameras on every pump. I could see my truck (& others) on the monitor at a Pilot today. Unless he paid cash, all his info is recorded with time stamp. Assuming he got fuel. Otherwise it's just a pic of him & truck. MIght be too late for the law, but the company might want to know.

This here. All your bigger truck stops have cameras. Now whether they are working or not is another story. Got out of the truck few mornings back and found an empty case of beer at the back of my trailer. Wish I had seen the driver that had left it.
