Tyler D, all I can say is that I see a lot of threads about the trouble rookies get into when they think that the person they have on the phone is telling them "policy". Again & again a rookie has to pay their way home because they were acting on information from a recruiter or other representative. It's easy to be wrong, you know?
So are you trying to say that I or others may get sent home from orientation upon arrival due to being out of school for 2 months since receiving my CDL?
I know I have been very honest with my recruiter whose company I will be workin for. I also was assured by 3 other companies I looked at that much of a gap wouldn't hinder me being hired. They stated they prefer people fresh out but when you get into 4-6 months since receiving your CDL they may require a refresher. I know every company is different and I am only speaking based on the 4 I was looking at.

That is how it seems to have happened, in several cases. Don't take my word for anything, I know nothing. But be careful about theirs, too.
