The speed is reduced, I trip plan out here for 45 mph. Chaining is just something we deal with. The laws I don't find any different than the rest of them in the U.S. exseped for the requerment that trucks use the right lane. accidents are a lot the time caused by drivers not trip planning right and pressuring them selves into driving faster than is safe or going over the speed limit. The scenary is quite nice.

Hello everyone,
I'm thinking about driving west coast starting sometime in January. I have a few reasons for wanting to. Mainly because of the scenery. I been out there once before with my trainer but I'm scared. I'm afraid because I'm getting messages from safety talking about tickets and accidents related to driving out west. Also because of chain laws and the laws are strict out there. I have been driving east coast for the last 7 months. I have hardly seen any topics on the subject. Any info on driving out west would be greatly appreciated! Thank you guys.
