Don't be afraid to slow down and regroup. If you have to let a hothead cut in front of you so be it. When you get flustered and rush accidents happen.
At this point in the morning we didn't even have a pre-plan for after we got unloaded and I ended up letting another truck go before me just because it gave me extra room to maneuver.
Until a new driver gets their "sea legs" this is really great advice. Cannot stress how much Nate hits the nail on the head with this suggestion.
The customer the freight is being delivered to. Also referred to as "the receiver". The shipper is the customer that is shipping the goods, the consignee is the customer receiving the goods.
Should of turned off radio and pulled the airhorn with the finger at the hot head.... (Ok maybe not the finger but you get the point)...I would of went even slower.. Don't ever let anyone rush you or get the best of you cuz when that happens something bad follows....
