I recently failed my skills for the 4 the time. Parallel parking is what's killing me... I can make into the box on either side all day at the school, then when I get to test day, I can't get it to save my life. I have all my points when I get to it but then just keep screwing up..... This is getting to be very disheartening as I've never been one to fail this much at things. Now when I go back to test again I'm going to have to redo the pre trip as well, that was nerve wracking the first time....ggggggrrrrr!!!!!
Why don't you see if your school can let you practice at test location... my school did, at both locations they have us do it at
Problem with that is I'm in Virginia, and the DMV here tests Virginia ,MD and DC drivers, so they are always at the test sites.. And won't allow it...

The state agency that handles everything related to your driver's licences, including testing, issuance, transfers, and revocation.
You'll get it. Just try to relax, take a deep breath and use your free get out and looks. It will really help you to relieve the stress. I.E. line the truck up for your parallel. . Have the front cone about centered between your trailer tandems.. begin making your first cut.. get under your trailer to set up your straight line. .. back straight a few feet.. goal to relieve stress and see how much farther you need to go before you begin pushing the trailer in.. etc.
you'll get it.
A set of axles spaced close together, legally defined as more than 40 and less than 96 inches apart by the USDOT. Drivers tend to refer to the tandem axles on their trailer as just "tandems". You might hear a driver say, "I'm 400 pounds overweight on my tandems", referring to his trailer tandems, not his tractor tandems. Tractor tandems are generally just referred to as "drives" which is short for "drive axles".

I got mine on my 4th attempt. It was the Alley Dock that got me. I was able to parallel park... They had me go through the PreTrip, straight line, offset every single time. It was a tossup on the parallel park and the alley dock and since I nailed the parallel park on my first test I had to do the alley dock over and over again. On my 1st attempt I made it through to the road test and stalled out the truck over 20 times.
You'll get it, even if you have to stop and breath and threaten yourself during the test (like I did).
