Thanks so much for all the support guys! My hubby and I are super excited to get out on the road! TransAm moved my orientation date to the 23rd but if someone drops out of the 16th then I'm in!

Holy cow!! I am in shock right now. I PASSED my DOT test today!! I was so nervous when I got up this morning but I made it!
I really thought I was going to fail the backing section when I took 5 pull-ups on a stinkin' offset back but my killer pretrip saved my butt!
When we came back to the test site after the road test and the DOT officer told me I passed with flying colors, I thought I was gonna explode! I wanted to do cartwheels across the parking lot.
I have to do my physical and drug test this week, but I am set for orientation with TransAm in Kansas on the 16th. I will write a training diary when I get there.

Department Of Transportation
A department of the federal executive branch responsible for the national highways and for railroad and airline safety. It also manages Amtrak, the national railroad system, and the Coast Guard.
State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.
