I need an honest opinion on working for western express I am getting out of the army for good in may after 10 years,i got my cdl in 2012 and was training with werner but left after a few weeks because it was a horror story with the 2 trainers I had I deployed soon after and havn't drove since then but I have plenty of time behind the wheel as my army job was an 88m (driver) driving 40ft flat bed is the standard for line haul ,anyway ,I love driving and want to give it another chance despite my experience with werner ,what are your thoughts on western express? and also Roehl who I just found offer an military apprenticieship program.......THANKS!!

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
Line Haul:
Linehaul drivers will normally run loads from terminal to terminal for LTL (Less than Truckload) companies.
LTL (Less Than Truckload) carriers will have Linehaul drivers and P&D drivers. The P&D drivers will deliver loads locally from the terminal and pick up loads returning them to the terminal. Linehaul drivers will then run truckloads from terminal to terminal.
