Did your FM ride with you, or do they have telemetry on your truck?
Ask my fleet manager for a monthly review since I been solo 2 mos this week. Basically told me to slow down 3 miles per hour and shift at different rpm. Other than that I'm doing great according to him :) yay me. Hahha
Sorry. Had to share. Been a rookie u still wonder ya know?
Awesome to hear! Keep up the good work!

Our truck tells them everything.. how long u idle... how many hours you drive at each speed... what rpm u shift. ...how long u are in top gear.. how l9ng u are in cruise control... ur mpg...etc.
I already drive 3 miles an hour slower than the truck will run. I am seeing if I can maximize the mpg. I reset it today and was pulling 9.4 in 300 miles on 81 going north thru va

I think it has a lot to do with the age 9f the truck. I am always above 9.... lowest was 8.4 in wyoming. Empty I can get up to 12. I have a 2015 cascadia. I don't do anything special but get a weekly bonus.
He said to drive 57 to 58 and shift at 1100. We'll see if it makes a difference. But honestly I have been more interested in not hitting anything than caring about that stuff lol

Fleet Manager:
Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager
The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.
