As you all know or may know I started Swift Academy on February 15, 2016 I passed my Test on March 2, 2017. I started my Mentorship March 11, 2016 & I finished it April 11, 2016. It was 200 LOOOONG hours but I got through it. Today April 12, 2016 I took my upgrade test & passed it! I'm Officially a rookie driver! Well once I get a truck that is. They are currently looking for me a truck & may have to bus me somewhere to get one. I'm excited & thrilled! Ready for the challenges of Trucking! Also ready to get home for a few days. I've been away from home for like 8 weeks now, ready to see my GF & son. Thanks for all the help from this site & special thanks to guys like Errol, G-Town, & Old School who have been very helpful and informative. Also thanks to Brett for the learning tools on this site that helped me attain my permit. Now I have to use the study material for my Endorsements. Overall I have NO complaints about Swift & would recommend them to anyone looking to enter this industry & has no money to pay for the school out of pocket.

Congratulations

Your commitment was evident the first time I read your posts. I'm happy to such an energetic and positive new driver such as yourself is now one step further to a rewarding career.

I am sure your future is bright it's so easy to spot. Your first year is your biggest transition, spend quality time with your girlfriend and son. Be proud of your hard work and always remember we do this to make their life easier. Be extra careful out there for the first year, it's the most important year in ones young career. I'm sure in no time you will be paying it forward just like so many of us do here. I am truly smiling ear to ear reading your post. May your steers always be on the blacktop my friend congratulations !
