Schneider does not have driver facing cameras, we are all too damn ugly. They are starting to put forward facing cameras in trucks. They did a pilot on them this last year, mainly intermworks. And had good response from drivers in the pilot. All new trucks will have forward facing cameras. BUT NO Driver facing cameras are in the works.

How the heck typing intermodal ends up being intermworks? Technology at its finest

Intermodal:

Transporting freight using two or more transportation modes. An example would be freight that is moved by truck from the shipper's dock to the rail yard, then placed on a train to the next rail yard, and finally returned to a truck for delivery to the receiving customer.

In trucking when you hear someone refer to an intermodal job they're normally talking about hauling shipping containers to and from the shipyards and railyards.

Interstate does not. I haven't heard anything as to whether they're being considered, but no cameras as of now.

Interstate:

Commercial trade, business, movement of goods or money, or transportation from one state to another, regulated by the Federal Department Of Transportation (DOT).
