I'm heading out to Olathe, KS to train with TransAm. I've read the list they gave for stuff to bring. I've packed as light as I can, but still don't have enough room. I'm just worried about my other bag being TO big. So is this bag to big? IMG_1117.jpgFullSizeRender%2056.jpg

Greyhound has its own baggage rules. As for being on a truck, if you can't find a place for your stuff, you can always keep it on your bunk.

Yeah, I'm not to concerned with Greyhound. I just don't wanna "take over" someone else's truck, but with all the stuff they want you to bring. I feel like it's inevitable.

That's about the size of the bag I brought during training, plus I had a sleeping bag. I don't think it's too big. Errol's right though, you're probably going to sleep with it.

P.S. Can I have some of those cookies?

Nah you should be good! The KW T680s have a ton of storage space under the bunk. When I was with my trainer I was able to stick my duffle under her bunk. Even if you have to sleep with it the bunk is plenty big enough

Good luck and maybe I'll see you at the terminal! I'm in PA now but not sure where I'm headed next.

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

I often used my bag as a pillow when I was training. worked okay for the most part, Often used it for my legs too as a rest while laying down.. Helps drain some of the fluid build up while driving for hours.... little elevation helps some times.

Awesome! Thanks guys! I set off on Monday at 12:55pm and arrive 11:55am Tuesday. ugh. Long bus ride. But at least I'll have most of the day Tuesday to relax and explore.

Good luck! I check up on TT a couple times a day so if you have any questions I'll be happy to answer them!

Tell Mike that Amber/Ashley said hi! He will get it!

Remember, don't get too stressed out by the range testing. You will have plenty of time to practice and they will help you if you need it.

I have regular twin sheets and they fit fine. The bottom bunk is a little bigger so when you get your own truck twin xl might work better.
