Rainy D is correct. I'm also at Prime, and freight is 99% no touch. I say 99% because there are flower accounts out of Florida where you do all the unloads, but not many people take those runs. There might be some others, but that's the one I'm positive about. If you have any questions about your load requirements, ask your fleet manager BEFORE you start driving.
As an FYI - Prime DOES HAVE a terminal in Miami.
It's for these flower accounts, pretty much dedicated to them.
The flowers are coming in via Port of Miami, from South/Central America - pretty much the only freight coming out of the area (aside from containerized/inter-modal).
Which is why most companies don't hire out of this area (S. Florida that is).
Thanks for all the feedback guys (and gals). Still on the mend - another month before I can start to explore where/if my physical limitations are.

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

Get well soon Rick, I always enjoy your contributions.

Personally i don;t touch fright. If they will pay a lumper 300 bucks to unload and only pay me 50 bucks, they can pay the lumper, not worth the risk of me getting hurt :D
