Hey, it's only 2016 and they've already decided that after only 100 years of trucking in North America we should probably require that drivers have training! Woo Hoo! Hooray for high standards!

We're no better here in the states. You don't need any sort of education or training to get your CDL. If you can pass the tests (or pay off Illinois politicians) you can get your CDL. But we have groups claiming that new mandatory training requirements are on the horizon also.

Here in the state's the insurance companies have already pretty much made that a rule. If you don't go to a school to get your cdl you can't get hired.
