Omg... im.so glad u kept your cool aND you are safe!!
I like to drive the same shift you do. But this was the first real encounter I've had with a drunk driver. Scary!!
I can't believe there weren't more cops out. I saw at least 4 drunk drivers and not a single cop.... Wth?
Wow! I got a visual and anything could have gone sideways real quick. Good Job! Be safe out there. Mark F.

Rainy, I nearly had a duplicate of your accident in Nashville this morning.
We rolled through around 0300. And the drunk drivers were out THICK!! Multiple cars weaving, speeding up and slowing down erratically, even one guy who didn't have his lights on!! Someone came barreling around me on a curve, jumped over in my lane to avoid the car in his and very nearly flipped his car and slammed into a wall right in front off me. He had to be doing at least 90.
I slowed down in order to keep my distance from these people. I saw lights in my mirror and glanced up to see a car right next to me, weaving. This was where there are four lanes to choose from, me being in the right lane.
I'm keeping a close eye on him when he starts getting closer and closer to the trailer. I didn't have a skirt on that trailer and if didn't do something soon he was going to be underneath the trailer. Luckily there was an off ramp beside me so I was able to scoot over far enough and slow down so he could just go around.
My heart was racing after that one!
