Thank you for posting. I am planning to take Greenville Tech's course in January!
Been driving for Cheeseman Transport out Greer SC the past 3 weeks with a company trainer. Learning so much every day and my backing has greatly improved. They have great equipment all 2015 and never tractors and adding new trailers every few months. I'm currently in a 2016 Prostar 2 bunk sleeper. All the trucks are equiped with eaton automatic manual trans. Just few more weeks and I hope to get my own truck.
That's awesome, Dan!
I just started class at Greenville Tech last night. Oh boy do I EVER have a lot to learn!
I know it’s been a while on this thread but, I’m from Spartanburg and I’m trying to get my cdl without quitting my job and going all in. SCC did offer a night class but that instructor quit due to COVID. Greenville tech won’t post a schedule and it’s taking a week for the person of contact to reply back. So, my question I’m getting to is when you were at GTC was you a full time student (8-10hr/day) or part time. (~4hr/day)? If you was full time do you know if they did part time?

Got my SC CDL-A today. So happy I passed. Had to drive a truck that I'd never driven before and parallel park that truck with a 53" trailer in a space that was actually too short for the rig. Got it in and had to use all my pull ups. Now to start sending out applications for a job.
