Drove on highway and through town today first time. I did well. Had 3 cars cut me off and illegally pass me. All in all it felt good i was able to call out dangers while handling the truck as expected.

Congrats. I know it may not feel like it right now but highway driving is the easiest part of the job.

It was more relaxing in the regard i had it in top gear and was able to just keep it moving without shifting. It rode kind of rough on the hwy but i know thats just cause its the training truck. Im in love though. I been wanting to do this my whole life and im done with corporate america.

Congrats. I know it may not feel like it right now but highway driving is the easiest part of the job.

One thing to remember. Take your time and take it easy. Don't do anything you don't feel safe. Take those curves and hills at a speed your comfortable with until you get a better feel for the truck. When I first started I was looking for the brakes as soon as it got over 60 mph lol. You may be different but that was my experience.

Remember that feeling. There will be some days ahead that won't feel so good and may even make you want to quit. When that happens, remembering that feeling you just experienced will help you get through.
