Ok calm down now. Your reactions are knee jerk. Did I say this country was in disarray? (No) I just made a personal observation based on what I see, read and hear. Just like you guys, I have a right to my opinion and if I express it and someone suggests I leave the country, then I have to say you have missed the whole point and have countered your own argument. Does anyone here think things are perfect? Do you ever gripe over taxes and government regulation. Government spending? Sometime you flag wavers might want to unfurl that flag from around your eyes so you can see things in a more realistic way. Now I fought to guarantee the citizens the right to free speech. It's my right also. It's fine with me if you don't agree with me, but please refrain from the personal attacks and your moronic comments about leaving the country.

I defended this flag for more than 25 years here at home but mostly abroad in hostile territories, including 6 tours in Afghanistan and Iraq. I am done listening to your ignorant, blowhard babble.

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

Wow, so in the same sentence you ask people to stop attacking you and then call them moronic?

Great job.

Your profile reads that you're 66 and retired from 49 years in construction. When did you defend the country?

No Brett, I called the comment moronic. not the commenter. There is a difference.

Bruce wrote this...

And that’s not insulting? It is to me...

C’mon...this is a trucking website and Chuck Todd is not moderating. Chill.

Good grief. You'll argue the value of a penny, won't you?

Ok, I'm getting piled on here. If I promise to never make a political comment here again will I be forgiven? Read my comments on other threads. Then lets put it to a vote. 1) I should leave the country by - a: Voluntarily b: deportation. c: Confinement to Guantanamo Bay detention facility. d: Death penalty. (And if it's death penalty, can I have my ashes buried by my mom and dad?) Also, lets have a vote on this: Are my comments so egregious that I should be banned from Truckers Truth? After all, it's called Truckers Truth. I didn't start the thread, I just posted my honest opinion and now I'm being excoriated by the good ol' boys network. And I've heard the slogan "Love it or leave it" ever since Vietnam. It's a slogan used by people who can't engage in a serious conversation because all they know are clichés. So c'mon guys, let's hear it. You want me here or not? If not, you won't hear from me again. It's your loss, not mine. I've been trying to give constructive input here since I started, but I guess not everybody sees it that way. But if I can't post my honest viewpoints here, what's the sense? And Brett, I thought you were better than this.

Hey Bruce, how about you stick to trucking topics, stop insulting people and ramming your political agenda down our throats. I don’t care about your opinion and do not care to read about it.

This is not a political forum and I can assure you there is only one vote that really counts on Trucking Truth and you just questioned his integrity.
