Going home whenever there's a problem isn't really an option most of the time. Maybe you can ship them FedEx and have them shipped back to you somewhere on the road? Or can you take them somewhere yourself wherever you happen to be to get them fixed? They might even consider letting you fly home, get em fixed, and then fly back. I'm not sure.
This is the kind of stuff you'll have to learn to work through out there. The company isn't going to just flip a switch and send you home whenever you want. You have to get creative out there.
I would think you could ship them FedEx to be repaired and then have them shipped back to you.

Driver Manager:
Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager
The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.
