Your bills say 34944 gross weight and when you scale out your gross is 79500. Hmmmmm. Sounds like somebody lied! I just new by my air gage that my drives where too heavy. So to be safe I scaled. Can't trust those folks

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

So, is the 34944 the weight of the cargo & the 79500 your gross vehicle weight when you scaled? If that is so, then your truck is very heavy (pun intended).

I agree, someone lied about how much the freight weighs, by ALOT.

You can NEVER trust shippers.....If your company is getting paid by the 100 gross, they will say that it will weigh this...and slip in more...cuz they already know what they will have to pay, and they are betting that you, as a driver will figure that as long as you are legal, you won't tell dispatch....WRONG.....be vigilant...you can help your company get paid what they should be paid...

Shipper:

The customer who is shipping the freight. This is where the driver will pick up a load and then deliver it to the receiver or consignee.

My company is well aware of their shenanigans. In order for my weights to be what they are I have about 44000 in my box.

Like you, I also drive a KW, only with a skateboard. When empty & full of fuel, I weigh about 30,500.

You folks and your Kenworths make me jealous. My 2005 Freightliner has nearly a million miles on it (967,000). The company tells me they are trading it in January....of course the new truck will go to a more senior driver...I just hope this time I get one that hasn't been abused so much.

I'm certainly earning my keep. I've been out since July 18th and have well over 30K miles. I think I deserve something better!

Tracy...TSB told me to tell you to talk to Chris Larson....and tell him Heartbreak Express (Bill and Lynn Sloan) said Hi...Maybe Chris can get ya a better ride. He would be the one who can do the best for a good driver, who isn't home every other week. impress on him your time out.... Freightshakers make me flinch......
