There is a Walmart on Roosevelt Blvd, truck parking on the road behind it (off of Grant Ave. I think). Try that. Or there is another Walmart on Byberry Road,...I think they too allow truck parking but definitely ask the manager at that one.

OOS:

When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.

I've been there a couple times. $20 per night, CAT scale and security, no food or other amenities besides a bathroom.

CAT Scale:

A network of over 1,500 certified truck scales across the U.S. and Canada found primarily at truck stops. CAT scales are by far the most trustworthy scales out there.

In fact, CAT Scale offers an unconditional Guarantee:

“If you get an overweight fine from the state after our scale showed your legal, we will immediately check our scale. If our scale is wrong, we will reimburse you for the fine. If our scale is correct, a representative of CAT Scale Company will appear in court with the driver as a witness”

Yeah but it's still a place to stay. I've slept there a couple times, that's one of our drop yards so I get free parking.

For sure, definitely counts as a "safe haven" in my book.

The one off Street road on Bensalem is $10.00 I think There's a lunch wagon in front of the building there, the guy makes a mean cheesesteak. Safe place for the night, they have vending machines and a lounge inside.
