I always keep a spare in my pocket. And have two small climbing clamps hooked to it just in case I get a trailer with a chain that won't quite reach the hook.

I like the hook idea!

Paul, Do yourself a favor. Just don't ever lock your Truck.

Then Old School:

Paul, if you want to start making the big bucks, do like I do... Lock yourself in the truck!

What fun would trucking be if I didn't have a couple trucker friends to poke fun at me when I screw up?

In the meantime I have part of my lockout kit hidden on the outside of my truck in case I forget my key again..

I can just see your next post. "I locked my Lockout kit in my Truck"

Oh Tractor Man, you have too much faith in me. I ALREADY DID THAT!!

I bought a lock kit in the morning and got my truck open. When I locked myself out later, my lock kit was inside the truck so I bought a thin antenna and bent a "u" shape in it to unlock the truck.

I could've just called On-road but I didn't want to wait for them. Besides, I enjoyed the opportunity to "level up" my break-in skills hahaha

I locked the keys in my truck outside of Vegas on my virgin run after upgrading in SLC. No way I was calling anybody. LOL i now carry spares on my belt loop and one in my wallet. Probably going to add one under the hood as well. LOL

I can see it now....." Do you have any extra keys to turn in with the truck?"....

Then watching as 20 of them are dropped on the desk. rofl-2.gif
