Thank you Patrick. My sense of humor is very dry...so much so that I am usually the only one in the room laughing.
I delivered ONE pallet of sponges. Three boxes out of 300 were rejected as 'crushed'.
How do you crush a sponge?
I hate food warehouses.
I had napkins and paper towels. At least I will NEVER have to worry when I am hauling bales of scrap paper for recycling. I don't think they could find an excuse to reject it if they tried, lol. I admit though my poor gutless truck doesn't seem to like hauling them. Especially over big hills!! It is not like I am that heavy. I am still under 80k. I only weighed in around 78.5k gross. Although they did load it a bit too far back. Had to nearly slide my tandems all the way back to get them legal. Luckily I wasn't going thru any states that have rules about distance between the kingpin and tandems.
A set of axles spaced close together, legally defined as more than 40 and less than 96 inches apart by the USDOT. Drivers tend to refer to the tandem axles on their trailer as just "tandems". You might hear a driver say, "I'm 400 pounds overweight on my tandems", referring to his trailer tandems, not his tractor tandems. Tractor tandems are generally just referred to as "drives" which is short for "drive axles".

They say emulation is the highest form of flattery. I did read thru your WalMart dedicated post a few times. I enjoy reading stories that are really good at helping to ground me. Probably why I have also read thru Brett's book several times.
