Good luck. I know there has been several topics on husband/wife teams. Including which companies will train you together. A search may bring up some of these posts.
Once again good luck in your future endeavors.

Hi everyone very excited and a little apprehensive about the future. As of November 10th 2016 I am walking away from a part of my life that I have been doing for 37 years. For 37 years I have worked in the factory. I have worked in production, maintenance and tool and die. Now my wife and I are starting a new adventure in the trucking industry as a husband and wife team truck drivers. We start classes on December 5th and who knows from there. I got up this morning with one thought, I just quit my job!!!! Oh my I haven't done that since I was a teen, been laid off and fired twice but to quit to start something completely knew...... Wow at 56 years old geez.... But what the heck you only live once, so onward toward the undiscovered country, the future. Will keep a post on the events to follow.
TWIC:
Transportation Worker Identification Credential
Truck drivers who regularly pick up from or deliver to the shipping ports will often be required to carry a TWIC card.
Your TWIC is a tamper-resistant biometric card which acts as both your identification in secure areas, as well as an indicator of you having passed the necessary security clearance. TWIC cards are valid for five years. The issuance of TWIC cards is overseen by the Transportation Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security.
