Did you use the stylus?
Anyway, I did notice a USB port on the side, does that have anything to do with it?

Haha. No stylus. Didn't use the USB port either.
Most of these computers are basically tablet computers and function just like a normal computer. The Qualcomm program is just a software running on the box, much like it would on your home computer. Often, these truck computers have Web browsers and other computer functionality, but most of the time, Internet access is disabled.
At my last company, we used the turnpike system on a Motorola box running Windows.

LOL!! I can't figure out how to do it again. It only seems to work when my Qualcomm glitches out for some reason. :(

Have you ever played pinball on your Qualcomm? I have and I'm not telling you how I did it!
Qualcomm:
Omnitracs (a.k.a. Qualcomm) is a satellite-based messaging system with built-in GPS capabilities built by Qualcomm. It has a small computer screen and keyboard and is tied into the truck’s computer. It allows trucking companies to track where the driver is at, monitor the truck, and send and receive messages with the driver – similar to email.
