It's been a bit rough but do-able.

Slow and steady.

I'll be back with more. Gotta roll again tonight.

Anyone else on I-80 this week?

I have stories to tell ...

Im on I-80 headed for Iowa now. Just left Chicago and its very windy and 31 degrees there. Lol they have us planned to go to Minnesota after we drop the current load in Cedar Rapids , then back to Cedar Rapids from Minnesota and then to Denver.

Looks like Im going to get plenty of winter driving in this week. Uggghh.

In Effingham, IL tonight, headed to Detroit, MI tomorrow to drop a Canada load for a local driver. There's a very good chance I'll be routed into a Westbound load from there.

I've also joined the ranks of those stuck in this wonderful state. Walmart Rawlins, exit 215. Winds gusting to 40 mph..

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

This Wyoming party you are all having is one I don't mind missing. I did get to chain going over Donner this week, though, if that counts.

No, it doesn't count. Sorry man. If you want to join the Wyoming party you gotta get your ass stuck here making no money with the rest of us!

Just be sure to keep plenty of food in your truck when going over Donner in the winter - especially if you are a team truck!

Just left Wyoming...and good riddance! Was stuck there for a day and a half due to that storm that blew through. Very glad to be off of I-80!
