If you're spending the night, and depending on your schedule, get over to Lambert's Cafefor lunch. They open at 10:30.

I'm up and down I-55 almost every day now.

Errol have you been to the Double Nickel? I-55 Exit 19 Looks kinda run down and sits next to Pilot if you haven't been to it. Ribs that fall apart... best I've ever had.

Lamberts has amazing food. When I was in the Army, Sikeston was one of our favorite places to do a training flight to. We always shut down and went to Lamberts when we were there. The other place we did this a lot with was Owensboro to go to the Moonlight BBQ.

I was in Sikeston last night. We stayed at the Love's. I already had red beans and rice in the crockpot so we didn't stop for dinner.

And I left for SpriMo at 0800 so no lunch for us...

But Lambert's is definitely on the must try list! Hubby has been there many times.

I know the "throwed rolls" is stupid - you could end up with more rolls than dinner! - but it's fun. And you won't leave without enough take-home for another meal.

BTW, I found CM's stopping place with the TT Tracker map app.

I thought about stopping at the one in Ozark on our way up here but I didn't think about it far enough in advance to check the satellite view to scope out the parking.

Maybe on the way home tomorrow.
