IPad with wireless cellular internet/SIM card slot. Plus Wifi on it as well for those truck stops with wifi.

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

This is from my son who is a computer engineer. And even some on here will say the same thing.

STAY AWAY FROM THE TRUCK STOP WIFI.

It can be full of viruses. People can easly hack onto your computer through the wifi.

And last but not least. It is usually very expensive. It is not always free. The few that I have checked range between 12 to 20 dollars for 24 hours.

I can pay 20 dollars a month and get a hotspot unit from Verizon.

Keep it safe out here. Joe S

I don't think a kindle is going to be able to do the things your wanting to do. The cheapest and easiest solution would probably be a smart phone. Higher on the cost list would be an iPad (don't know what I would do without mine) or a laptop.

What are you using to take the pictures you want to send? That may determine what you need to get them into an email.

I have noticed a couple of threads where you seem to be replying to a current post but having to start a new thread to reply. Just in case you don't know how there is a green box at the bottom of this page that says "start new reply" if you click on that box you can answer questions people ask and keep all the information in the same thread. This will bump that topic back to the top so other people know there has been another post on that topic.

If you already knew this and just wanted to start a new thread then please disregard this post.
