In our company a lot of the trainers are lease ops and get to choose where they will drive. My trainer gave her FM a map that excluded the northwest and WY UT and other snowy places

Therefore i got very little winter driving even through the winter. I did drive Chicago between 30-45 mph and she called me driving Miss Daisy. But I don't care. She tried to get me to speed up cause time is.money but I didn't care. I only drove thru Flagstaff in snow other than that. When she drove she shut us down cause the PA turnpike closed to crashes.

The trainer can't force you to drive if you feel unsafe. Tell the FM.,..better yet..message dispatch on the QC in writing so you have proof.

Fm:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

OOS:

When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.

Well hopefully I won't run into this. I was definitely wondering how everyone that was with a trainer handed it though thanks!

There were two times I was tired and took an hour or two hour nap instead if a 30 min break.

Just let them know how u feel about the situation.
