So I was scanning the local Craigslist job ad's when I came across this guy. I guess you don't have to go to another forum to get people talking crap about trucking companies.

P.S he doesn't use the best language if that stuff offends you. But being truckers I can't imagine it would.

Well...He's a piece of work.....I think the doctor should have slapped his mother instead of the baby....

Wicked classy. I wonder what sort of issues a person must have to even say stuff like that in a public post. Some people need to grow up.

LMAO!!! rofl-3.gif

That is amazing. People are something else. And you have to be at least 21 to even be considered for an OTR job so you know that was "an adult" if you can call him that. I wouldn't be surprised in the least to see something like that written on a bathroom stall in a high school...a teenager just trying to be as obnoxious as possible. But geeeeez...

OTR:

Over The Road

OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.

Lol, they are there just to get overweight tickets...? Does he realize that the trucking company is a business, they won't make money if every load is overweight and no ones moving. What a tool.

But thanks for the giggle. I needed that after driving all night and through Chicago.

I beginning to think he's got something against gay and lesbians because he followed it up with another post today about the sam company and same guy at the PA terminal. This time saying other stuff about having lies put on your dac. This guys gone of the deep end. wtf.gif

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

DAC:

Drive-A-Check Report

A truck drivers DAC report will contain detailed information about their job history of the last 10 years as a CDL driver (as required by the DOT).

It may also contain your criminal history, drug test results, DOT infractions and accident history. The program is strictly voluntary from a company standpoint, but most of the medium-to-large carriers will participate.

Most trucking companies use DAC reports as part of their hiring and background check process. It is extremely important that drivers verify that the information contained in it is correct, and have it fixed if it's not.
