I know nothing about them, although I've heard the pay is not great; but, Carolina Cargo is often brought up as a company that will hire felons. Not sure about drug charges, but I would give them a call.
Maybe if you can demonstrate you are a reliable truck driver there, other companies will give you a chance. Hell, maybe you will like it there and stay. I know I would appreciate someone that would give me a chance when noone else would.
Thomas, check this web page from the Trucking Truth library:

I'll send this to your email, too.

My name is Thomas, and I am a felon of course, but nothing major. I recieved a drug conviction for possession. Was a minute amount but came to a felony regardless. Well, That was then, and admittingly I was pretty foolish when I caught my possession charge. I am now clean, no longer use drugs, and have grown up and left the crap behind me. Sadly though, the repercussions for my poor choice has affected my long range goal of becoming a truck driver. That one moment of stupid thinking back then, really messed it up for me when i stopped my foolishness. I want to go to school so badly i cant stand it at times. Its a calling I should have listened to instead of running off amuck. I have mostly misdemeanors, but the possession charge is the only one i think that may stand in my way. I have ready your posts, and i am grateful to all of you. I ask you to please help me with any info you can. I used drugs for a few, got caught and learned my lesson. Now I wish I could go back and erase it cuz im ready to move on with my life and be a regular working man. I cant make it on here totally alot sometimes, so if you could email me i would be most grateful thomaspeterson0071@yahoo.com thank you everyone, and God bless each and everyone of you have a super day! Thomas

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager
The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.
