Welcome to the forum.
The first step we recommend is to review and study the contents of the Trucking Truth starter kit. The below links will provide a primer to establishing basic knowledge and setting realistic expectations. High Road training is somewhat self explanatory and will enable you and your fiancé to successfully pass the CDL A permit exams. You should both take a look at this material.
Beyond that I'd review the contents of Paid CDL Training Programs and match that with a company that teams in Trucking Company Reviews. Many of the companies found in the company sponsored link will allow teaming. Once you have reduced the list to 3 or 4 companies I'd thoroughly review their websites, especially the sections on training and fill-out an on-line application. When speaking to a recruiter make it known you intend to eventually team with your fiancé.
Good luck!

Welcome to Trucking Truth, Jjones.
G-Town got you rolling with the starter kit. Do a search on "team driving" here to see what's been posted.
I haven't done team except in training. But the reality is two people living in a space smaller than your bathroom, literally arms length apart for weeks. Teaming is great for newlyweds, since you get all the money the truck earns.
But the same constant closeness may wear on people, even lovebirds like you. I'm not trying to be negative, and with the right chemistry you two will love the See America style travel. There's many married team drivers posting on YouTube. Check them out.

I am thinking about going into team driving with my fiancé, we both plan to attend school this summer. Does anyone have any suggestions, tips or helpful information in regards to the type of experience we need to be able to drive together. How long we have to be driving to do teams? What is the best route to take when we are both new to this and want to drive together?
