This may be the young age and rookie status talking, but I personally can't stand being off the road for more than 2 days let alone a whole month! I was home for a week with the flu (did not feel safe driving at all), and even while I was feeling physically miserable, I missed being on the road. Couldn't imagine being voluntarily away for a whole month!

Normally I would agree with you, but other than a few days here & there, I haven't been on a good vacation in over 20 years since I retired from the military (this is not counting the summer of 2015 when I was having medical issues I was dealing with).

Sitting around involuntarily due to medical issues definitely does not count as vacation time.
