My reply was intended to address this perception beyond the single experience you documented, and offer the relevant importance of recruiter interaction to people who have not invested the amount of time you have on TT and the forum.
I'm kind of in the same boat Brett. I went to a company orientation and I need them to verify that I attended and they hasn't responded. What would you do in this kind of situation?
What I'm reading between the lines is that there's all kinds of other issues going on you're not telling us about. You've made two comments so far and both mentioned race. If you're talking that way to strangers you've never met in a forum, I'm sure they were well aware of how you felt about them so they're not about to do you any favors.
Prime won't hire anyone that has been fired from their last job so they want to speak with your former employer to verify your information and the nature of your employment there. If they can't find out the information they need then they're not interested, simple as that.
99% of the people applying for jobs have no problem getting former employers to verify their history. If you can't find a way to make that happen then Prime is figuring the same thing I am, that there's more to this story than you're telling people.
There isn't anything we can do to help you with that situation. You have to figure out how to get them on the phone. If they're purposely not helping you, there's a reason for it.
You have some sort of proof of arriving at orientation right? An email Invitation to orientation? A bus ticket or car rental receipt? Heck a McDs meal receipt that you were in that city at that time. Orientations give papers. Email them to the recruiter.
At Prime you can post the question on the Prime Inc Youtube or Facebook channel and one of the higher ups will answer.

G-town, I intend to keep this in mind as I strive to succeed in the training process.
I posted only because I had a difference experience (positive) with the Prime recruiter.
I've come to realize how many people use this site for information. A simple Google search will bring up this thread. I wanted to make sure that another experience was represented.
