Easy peasy.
Slide the button that says nb/anb over to that setting. That's the noise blanker and it will clean up both transmit and receive. Set your Mic 3/4 to the right. RF gain about the same to full. Turn the squelch full left and turn up the volume until you hear the static. Then turn the squelch slowly to the right until the static stops. Now you have a basic set up and you can call out on 1-9 for a radio check.

Mic gain is your transmit, RF is your receive.

Just hooked up this CB I got from my late uncle Tommy (drove for Landstar). I have no idea how to set my knobs or anything properly and YouTube wasn't helping.
