I stumbled across this site and never visited another trucking site since.i like the big brother little brother straight forward responses and no complaining about companies. Since I joined this site I have passed my CDL test written and driving and leave for Tulsa, Oklahoma tomorrow say thanks for the heads up honesty on the trucking life

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

Hello Wick, we appreciate you checking in man!

I often wonder just how many folks like you come through here and lurk in the background, soaking it all up and getting their start without us ever even getting to meet them. We love helping folks get this done, and I'm sure some of them never even stop by to say "thanks."

Thanks again and I probably stop in on a regular now. It was questions I wanted to ask but found post about those so I didn't want to keep asking the same questions lol
