Today is a bittersweet day. I just got done pulling my last schedule for Greyhound. 10 years, probably about 6-700k miles, countless passengers and buses all done without major incident or making the news. It was a fun ride but ultimately I needed a change.
So later on tonight I come back to the terminal as a civilian, off the training with Swift in Columbus, OH. I'll probably do a training diary as nobody has been through the Columbus facility for training. I'd also like to thank Brett, Errol, Rainy and all the others who have given me advice and made this a great place to get knowledge on the industry.
See ya on the flip side
Terminal:
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.
