After reading this today I was glad I chose to be more careful. Turns out the mechanic is going to reuse the tire, but I didn't have to worry about this happening to me while I was unsure of the extent of the damage.
Either way, I had no idea a tire blowout could be so destructive and hard to control. I really feel for this driver and his family as this is something that could happen to any of us, even with taking all the precautions in the world.
That is scary.
One of my biggest fears out here.
I feel for the man who lost his life doing his job. Rest in peace. 🙁
